The Story: Advanced Property Solutions
My parents knew construction was in my DNA since an early age. At age three I began to modify and electrify my toys. By eight years old I was regularly building skate ramps, go carts, tree forts, and disassembling and reassembling anything I could get my hands on. At age eleven my neighbors, witnessing my construction creations, began to hire me as a carpenter and repairman. I was and am always most comfortable when making and fixing things, so while in college at SDSU in 1998 I founded Advanced Property Solutions (APS) in order to pursue an authentic entrepreneurial longing.
As the years went on, APS evolved to be become a licensed General Contractor building room additions and custom homes. In 2003 I began to take on commercial tenant improvement projects. I found the pace, energy, and motivations of business to business transactions to be in direct alignment with my goals.
To this day, I love to put my hands on our work in order to deepen and strengthen my understanding of what’s involved. I have personally performed all of the services APS provides so I know what it takes to manage and deliver the highest level of construction quality workmanship to our clients. This intimate knowledge of commercial construction enables APS to provide solutions to our clients that saves them time, money, and hassles.

Meet the APSGC, Inc Team
Jamie was born in Los Angeles, raised in Carlsbad and graduated from San Dieguito High School. After high school, he started his own construction business and attended SDSU, Cal State San Marcos, and received specialized training for Service Sector Management. Today, Jamie uses his knowledge and expertise to provide property solutions to those within the commercial sector. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, surfing, skateboarding, baseball, basketball, ranching, travelling, composting, and spending time with his four kids.
Originally from Grand Haven, Michigan, Lindsey graduated from Marymount University with a BA in Fashion Design. Her background in art lends itself to exploration, adaptability, and a solid commitment to creativity in her work. Her experience in marketing, digital business development, events and community management have resulted in a natural fit with the APS team’s marketing and development aims. She most values learning and experience in life, and enjoys making art, cooking, yoga, and, above all, hanging out with her little ones, Beau & Olivia.
In 2020, we were unexpectedly forced to part with our colleague and dear friend, Mike Mudge. Mike was a dedicated father and family man, an inspiring (and sometimes intense) conversationalist, and had a smile that powered whole jobsites on its own. He was also a stand-up APS Team Member with a bottomless battery and a got-your-back attitude that earned him the nickname Mike “Muscle” Mudge and has left an extremely large pair of workboots to fill. He hailed from Orange County, and his memory will live on with his young son, his mother, and his younger brother.
We miss you, Mike.
