The What, The WHy, and The When

Greensite The What

WHAT

Using eco-conscious materials like reclaimed shipping containers we aim to create a thriving net-positive community hub employing designs, practices, and systems that protect and preserve our natural resources. Cutting edge sustainable building practices and permaculture design methods allow us to produce and give back to the environment and community. We seek to enable people to work and relax together in a dynamic, inspiring environment that is helping the greater good.

Why

The concept behind Greensite is to redesign the workplace to show that it can be a positive part of the community and environment around the clock instead of just during the workweek. The population is growing and our resources are rapidly decreasing, because of this we seek to create a diverse design for the future of urban development. A place to work, a place to connect, a place to learn, and a place to enjoy. Whether you have an office here, stop by for a beer, come to learn about permaculture and sustainability or simply come to see what it looks like; this is a place for everyone.

When

We are currently in the planning and developmental stages. APS is working on mid-scale green building and remodeling. We are designing various site plans for potential land parcels in order to synergize energy efficiency and space utilization. We are researching innovative energy and land use technologies to be implemented. Presenting project and technology innovation at SDGBC’s green building conference.
